Mission

To integrate the national television and radio systems of the public sector, oriented to the diffusion of cultural and educational contents, with the fundamental objective of achieving a significant presence of these, to permit the continuous strengthening of The Network, and assure the consolidation of alternative radio and television services throughout the country. 

Vision

To consolidate itself as an institution  that is oriented to support the continuous strengthening of the alternative public radio and television services; to establish links with related institutions in order to broaden the development and tangible advancement of the associates, as well as promoting the members’ motivation to maintain an active participation based on interchanges of diverse kinds.

Objectives

  1. To support the continuous strengthening of public radio and television services with the purpose of establishing links of cooperation among its members, and related national and international institutions, in order to contribute to the development and growth of its associates. 
  1. To promote the affiliation of public radio and/or television stations fostering culture and education, but also the principles of democracy and human dignity, as well as the improvement of the cultural level and the quality of life of Mexicans. These include the diffusion of expressions of the national culture and that exalt the values of the Mexican nationality, while contributing to the strengthening of democracy. 
  1. To develop and maintain the representation of The Network in relation to public organizations as well as private ones, from national or foreign origin; including  granting all type of services, yet acting also as the coordinator of all the support or service that any of its members may have offered to those who requested them through its mediation.    
 
     
  1. To support and help in the commercial transactions with suppliers of goods and services, in order to obtain preferential conditions and prices for its associates. 
  1. To collaborate with those members that would like to carry out a production copartnership, supporting them with technical, legal and administrative assistance, contributing with this to increase the quality of production. 
  1. To offer technical support to the members that request it; to give training courses and promote the exchange of ideas and projects. 
  1. To maintain a constant exchange of information in order to allow the improvement of the services the affiliated members offer to their audiences, as well as to develop the operation of a national broadcasting network. 

  2. To strengthen the relationships with other media agencies, public and/or private, in order to improve the level of the services that the affiliated members offer, and through this, to generate a stimulus of self-improvement among them. 
  1. To direct and coordinate all the administrative activities that are required for the operation of the association.
